Founded in 2017, DTM Development Inc. evolved into Kitchen Outfitters, driven by a passion for expert craftsmanship in kitchen and bath renovations. Fully licensed and insured, we have built a reputation for professionalism and reliability.
Our journey began as a subcontractor for one of the largest cabinet distributors in Virginia, handling a portion of the cabinet and countertop installations. Today, we are their preferred contractor, a testament to our quality work. Over the years, we’ve expanded partnerships with multiple home builders, contractors, and construction companies, further solidifying our expertise in design and installation services.
As we continue to grow, we are actively pursuing our commitment to education with the National Kitchen & Bath Association. Throughout every project, we emphasize clear communication, professionalism, and customer-focused design—ensuring that each kitchen is not only beautiful but also functional.

Walker
MEET THE OWNER
Chris Walker’s journey in the kitchen and bath industry spans over two decades, shaped by hands-on experience and a deep understanding of craftsmanship. Born and raised in Hopewell, Virginia, Chris moved to Henrico in 1990, later graduating from Varina High School in 1998. In 2010, he settled in Chesterfield, where he continues to build a legacy in the renovation business.
Chris’s career began in 2003, where he gained invaluable experience in manufacturing and installing cabinets and countertops. His expertise led him to a sales position at the largest granite supplier in Virginia in 2012, but his passion for hands-on work brought him back in the field in 2013. Over the next few years, he expanded his knowledge across various areas of the kitchen and bath industry, refining his skills in both design and installation.
With a strong foundation and years of industry experience, Chris took a leap in October 2017, launching DTM Development Inc. and later Kitchen Outfitters. His journey from craftsman to business owner is a testament to his dedication, expertise, and commitment to delivering high-quality kitchen and bath solutions to homeowners across the region.
